We’ve got big news today; we’re very excited to announce our new integration with DigiTickets, one of the leading online-ticketing providers in the UK.
First launched in 2010, DigiTickets supplies ticketing and EPOS solutions to a wide range of attractions and event venues, working with clients to optimise ticket sales and provide a streamlined booking process for customers. They’re also really friendly, scarily knowledgeable, and always have biscuits when we visit them; you can see why we wanted to work with them.
With the COVID-19 pandemic hitting their customer base hard, DigiTickets have seen many clients looking for ways to optimise their staffing levels, making sure that they have the right number of team members on site at all times. Scheduling too many staff was expensive, scheduling too few caused chaos, and trying to get the right balance was both difficult and time-consuming. Customers were wasting time trying to reconcile their ticket sales and their staff schedule, struggling to find the right reports to use and getting lost moving between different systems.
Our new integration has been designed to cut through the chaos, pulling pre-booked visitor numbers into Shiftie to show alongside staff rotas and availability. Visitor numbers for the next 7 days are shown by default and users can scroll through upcoming dates at will. Dates that have visitors booked but no staff scheduled are highlighted and the system updates every hour so that users don’t have to go hunting for the info they need.
