August 2026 Product Updates
Last updated: 26th August, 2026Custom Pay Permissions

Permission levels for management staff are now more flexible. You can specify exactly which employees a manager can view pay rates and shift costs for, ensuring sensitive information is only shared where appropriate. This gives you tighter control over confidentiality and removes the worry of exposing data managers don’t need to see.
Schedule Filters
Improved schedule filters give you a tidier, more focused view of your scheduling, making hours and cost analysis easier to interpret and shift management simpler to navigate. Filters now hide shifts directly on the schedule, giving you a more accurate picture of what’s included in your results. Plus, with a new option to show or hide shifts from other schedules, you’ll have a cleaner, more reliable view when assessing fulfilment and coverage.
Optionally Reinvite when Reinstating Employees

After archiving employees for the off‑season and reinstating them for the next, you can choose to send their invites right away or update their accounts first before inviting them back. This gives you more control over onboarding and ensures everything is set up correctly for the season, saving you from those “Can you update my details?” messages.
Automatic Cost Recalculation
When updating employee pay rates or creating new ones, you can now choose whether to automatically recalculate existing shift and timesheet costs or leave them untouched. Recalculating keeps your records accurate and aligned with the employee’s new rate, while leaving costs untouched ensures consistency in your reporting when historical data needs to remain stable.
Document Expiry Dates

Documents can now have expiry dates, helping you stay compliant and ensuring employees always hold valid documentation for HR requirements. You’ll also receive notifications when a document is close to expiring, so you never miss an upcoming renewal and your teams remain fully prepared for duty.
Connect Multiple ICRTouch Accounts
If you use ICRTouch across several sites, things just got easier. Shiftie now supports linking multiple ICRTouch accounts, so you can bring in sales data from all your locations. Each source can be mapped to the right schedule, helping you keep cost‑balanced scheduling running smoothly.
July 2026 Product Updates
Last updated: 27th July, 2026Bradford Factor Report
Our new customisable report for reviewing employee absence Bradford Factor scores allows managers to check each employee’s score across a chosen date range for selected absence types. This provides a single, reliable point of reference, making it much easier to track employee absences and identify patterns that may need attention.
Refreshed Email Notifications
Email notifications have been redesigned for a cleaner, more consistent look. Updates to the light and dark themes make key information like shift changes, leave requests, and other notifications clearer and more accessible, helping you stay on top of important details with less effort.
Clearer Shift Conflict Warnings
When adding a shift, the warning message now identifies which existing shifts would cause conflicts. This gives schedulers the details they need to understand potential clashes before assigning new shifts. With that context, it’s much simpler to resolve conflicts and keep the schedule running smoothly.
June 2026 Product Updates
Last updated: 23rd June, 2026End Employee Breaks from Time Clock
We’ve expanded the Time Clock tools to make life a little easier. Alongside setting custom clock‑in and clock‑out times, managers can now end an employee’s break with a chosen time right from the Time Clock page. So if someone forgets to clock back in but you see them working, you can update their return time on the spot, no need to remember to fix their timesheet entry later.
Unapproved Timesheet Entries Warning
Timesheet export dialogs now clearly show which employees have entries that aren’t ready, making it easier to review and audit everything before running payroll. This added visibility helps you quickly confirm accuracy and ensure everyone is paid correctly.
Unscheduled Timesheet Rounding
Unscheduled timesheet entries can now be automatically rounded using your timesheet rounding rules. When an employee clocks in without a scheduled shift, their time entry will be automatically rounded according to your existing settings, helping you to keep payroll consistent and accurate.
Acknowledge Shifts Details
The acknowledge‑shifts dialog now provides more detail about an employee’s upcoming shifts, including notes and tags. This gives team members a clearer understanding of any messages or responsibilities linked to their shifts before they acknowledge them, supporting smoother communication and fewer missed details.
May 2026 Product Updates
Last updated: 26th May, 2026DigiTickets Integration Redemptions Update
The integration with DigiTickets has been improved, so redemption figures now count the number of people rather than the number of orders. As a result, your Dashboard widget and Schedule insights will adjust to reflect these updated figures, giving you a more accurate comparison against pre‑booked ticket data and making it easier to calculate scheduling requirements.
Schedule Job Role View

Shiftie’s new schedule layout helps you easily view the allocation of job roles across your weekly shifts. This helps ensure that all positions are fulfilled each day and reduces the need for searching each employee to check which role they’re working. With tools for adding new shifts, easily reallocating with drag-and-drop, and quickly viewing who’s on leave, this new view is sure to keep your scheduling simple! April 2026 Product Updates
Last updated: 23rd April, 2026Allow Employees to Set Up Portals
We’ve introduced a new access role that lets employees sign in to and set up Clock In Portals themselves. That means less morning admin for managers and fewer interruptions during the day if the system logs out. If you’d like this switched on for your company, just reach out to our support team.
Absences in Timesheets

No more timesheets stuck with the “dreaded red dot”. You can now mark employees as absent to confirm missing timesheets and specify whether absences are paid. Absences can also be recorded directly from Time Clock, helping you manage each day as it happens and export everything in your pay reports, ready for payroll.
Direct Debit Payments
We’ve added a new way to subscribe to Shiftie. You can now pay via direct debit as well as card, offering a hassle‑free alternative to card payments and eliminating the need to constantly update card details. Just set it up once, and you’re good to go.
Improved Open Shift Review Flow
Reviewing open shifts just became more streamlined! A new status for open shift requests now makes it easier to see which employees are still available and best suited for the shifts they’ve claimed. Plus, any open shifts without available responses will be automatically hidden from the Requests page, keeping things cleaner and easier to manage.
