General
Once you sign up you’ll be walked through the system, adding your team members and schedule as you go – once you’re familiar with everything you’ll have a chance to play around with the system, making any additional tweaks to get everything just right for you.
Well, first off, who wouldn’t trust a company named Shiftie? More importantly, though, we’re part of an established and dedicated team who have been working in the software space since 2004; we’ve already dealt with security, stability, and GDPR hundreds of times over and are committed to producing a product that will genuinely help you, keeping your business running safely and smoothly no matter what.
We're not sure about the last one there, but if your device has an internet connection and an up to date browser then you can use it to log in to Shiftie. You won't need to start deleting other apps to make room for it, either; Shiftie is a web-based app, which means that although you can choose to save a shortcut on your computer or phone you don't need to, and it won't take up space on your device. To access your Shiftie account you'll just need to go to https://shiftie.app and enter your login details. Easy, right?
Well, that rather depends on you. For up to 30 employees, you'll pay £2.75 per employee, but for any employees over 30 you'll only pay £1.50 per user. Check out our Pricing page to see exactly how that works out for your team!
At the beginning of each month, you'll be charged for any users who were marked as active on your account in the previous month. Nice and simple.
Your first bill will be charged on the 1st of the month after your trial ends (provided you decide to keep using Shiftie!). We'll only charge you for any users who were marked as active on your account after your trial ended
When you first sign up you’ll be taken through the onboarding process, which will include adding your existing data and getting the system set up to work for you. By the time you’ve walked through the different sections your schedules will practically be ready to manage themselves!
You can indeed; our 28-day free trial allows you to create an account and fully test the system to make sure that it's the right fit for you. There are no costs or commitments. Starting a trial is simple and instant - you don’t even need a credit card!
Not technically a question, but you’re in luck! Shiftie was set up to do just that. Plus, our Help & Support section is pretty nifty too.
Check out our handy Industries pages for this one – but rest assured, if we don’t already serve your industry then we’d like to!
You just had to go there, didn't you? You can decide to cancel at any time by clicking the big red 'Cancel Account' button in the billing section of your account. You'll keep access to your account until the end of your current billing period to give you a chance to tie off any loose ends. You can also choose to cancel your cancellation at any point until the end of the billing period. Eternally optimistic, us.
Even better; we have a Progressive Web App (PWA for short). PWAs function a lot like traditional apps but save you the hassle of having to physically install yet another piece of software on your device. Instead of giving you a slimmed-down version of the desktop software that only works if you have a brand new phone and download every single update, our PWA lets you access all the great features of desktop Shiftie from any device; your team will simply need to save the site to their homescreens when prompted and then use it like any other app (except better, obviously).
Funnily enough, we get that a lot. Unfortunately, we’re a team who run a software product, so it might not work out – a classic case of “it’s not you, it’s all of us”. Why not sign up to use Shiftie instead? It’s the next best thing, we promise!
