Save time on tedious employee management tasks by using the bulk update options on the Team page. This now includes bulk updating employees' work patterns so that the schedule and shift assignment modals displays which days employees do and don’t work.

Employees can now easily add a note to a timesheet entry when they clock in or out using a Portal. Notes help timesheet managers understand discrepancies in the scheduled versus worked hours so they can quickly approve and export for payroll.

Paid leave hours are now exportable with your timesheet records in a pay breakdown to share with your payroll teams or import to payroll software. All leave requests will also be exportable separately with their paid hours to store for future reference or share with others.

Employee access role assignment has moved to its own page, making it easier to ensure all staff have the correct permissions. This will also allow additional permission options to be set in future releases.

Shift cost reports can now be exported to share with wider teams such as HR or external service providers. You’ll get an exact copy of your Shiftie data in CSV format to open in your favourite spreadsheet software.

Multiple devices can subscribe to Shiftie push notifications to be alerted about any activity such as leave requests or newly assigned shifts. Easier management of your device push subscriptions lets you remove old subscriptions and keep a clean list of where your notifications are sent.

Improved currency formatting using the chosen currency in your company settings and presented using your browser locale. Choose from a wide range of currencies to present employee wages, shift costs or timesheet pay breakdowns.

We know your team aren't only paid when they're physically working. Timesheets now include approved time off, which is factored into the total paid hours for the period, providing a more accurate payment calculation.

Improved organisation of shift templates in settings to easily find, edit or delete templates using filters and a search tool. Save time managing your templates to free up more time for applying them to your schedules.

All scheduled staff are now clocked out automatically at most 12 hours after their shift ends. Ensure your timesheets don’t over-extend into overtime hours and exhaust your timesheet approval processes. Automatically clocked-out shifts are highlighted in timesheets for awareness.

Shiftie now includes a wider suite of reports allowing you to assess your budgets and spending across locations, groups or job roles for custom date ranges. These reports provide an easy analysis of your schedule versus actual costs grouped by employee, employment type, location and more!

You can choose to allow employees to view the job role of other staff who are working at the same time. Let employees easily find who else is working at the same time so they can communicate between teams and ensure tasks are accomplished.

Schedule announcements or business-closed events help to communicate busier or quieter days with your team to make informed schedule decisions. Creating more than one per day previously crammed the scheduling space, now you can toggle the events to optionally display what’s happening during the period in view. Announcements, business closed events and public holidays will still be visible in the schedule timeline headers for quick reference.

Exporting multiple reports and then changing employee information can make it hard to cross-reference records, this is where employee references are useful. Every exported report will now include a unique fixed reference code for each employee for quick comparison.

Have you been concerned by oddities in your team’s timesheet entries? Timesheet history lets you easily audit employee entries and discover any changes made by managers or other staff members. You now have a full set of tools to easily spot where concerns may have occurred, quickly message your team to discuss the reasons, and edit the entries so they’re accurate before approving for payroll.

Not all staff are entitled to a fixed leave allowance for the year, Shiftie will provide the tools to let staff accrue their leave or have leave types deduct their allowance from other leave types such as Annual Holiday. Accrual will be based on the number of approved timesheet hours within the current leave period for the employee.
