  • What happens when I sign up?
  • Once you sign up you’ll be walked through the system, adding your team members and schedule as we go – once you’re familiar with everything you’ll have a chance to play around with the system, making any additional tweaks to get everything just right for you.
  • Why should I trust you with my business?
  • Well, first off, who wouldn’t trust a company named Shiftie? More importantly, though, we’re part of an established and dedicated team who have been working in the software space since 2004; we’ve already dealt with security, stability, and GDPR hundreds of times over and are committed to producing a product which will genuinely help you, keeping your business running safely and smoothly no matter what.
  • Can I use Shiftie on my computer/laptop/phone/typewriter?
  • We're not sure about the last one there, but if your device has an internet connection and an up to date browser then you can use it to log in to Shiftie. You won't need to start deleting other apps to make room for it, either; Shiftie is a web-based app which means that although you can choose to save a shortcut on your computer or phone you don't need to, and it won't take up space on your device. To access your Shiftie account you'll just need to go to https://shiftie.app and enter your login details. Easy, right?
  • How much does Shiftie cost?
  • Well, that rather depends on you. We have a range of different packages available at different prices depending on your needs – have a look at our Pricing page to see the options in all their glory! 
  • How does monthly billing work?
  • At the beginning of each month you’ll be charged up-front for your chosen plan. You’ll also be charged for any ‘additional users’ (the first 25 are included in the Little Bit Shiftie plan and the first 50 in the Very Shiftie plan) which were active at any point on your account in the previous month. Straightforward, right?
  • How does annual billing work?
  • You'll be charged for your chosen plan annually on the anniversary of the end of your free trial. At the end of each month you’ll also be charged for any 'additional users’ (the first 25 are included in the Little Bit Shiftie plan and the first 50 in the Very Shiftie plan) which were active at any point on your account in the previous month. Granted that's not strictly annual but can you imagine how confusing it would be trying to work out how many additional users you'd had at any given point at the end of the year? It doesn't bear thinking about.
  • How is my first bill calculated?
  • First of all, you’ll need to choose your plan. Our monthly billing cycle runs from the 1st of the month so you’ll pay for however much of the month is left pro-rata at the end of your free trial. Annual plans run from the day your trial ends. Once you sign up you’ll be walked through the system, adding your team members and schedule as we go – once you’re familiar with everything you’ll have a chance to play around with the system, making any additional tweaks to get everything just right for you.
  • How do I input my existing shift data?
  • When you first sign up you’ll be taken through the onboarding process, which will include adding your existing data and getting the system set up to work for you. By the time you’ve walked through the different sections your schedules will practically be ready to manage themselves!
  • Can I trial Shiftie before I commit?
  • You can indeed; our 28-day free trial allows you to create an account and fully test the system to make sure that it's the right fit for you. You can try out either the A Little Bit Shiftie or Very Shiftie plan depending on your requirements, and at the end of the trial you'll be able to enter your billing details and select your preferred package. Or you can cancel, but the less said about that the better.
  • Help!
  • Not technically a question, but you’re in luck! Shiftie was set up to do just that. Plus, our Help & Support section is pretty nifty too.
  • Do you cater to my industry?
  • Check out our handy Industries Served panel on the homepage for this one – but rest assured, if we don’t already serve your industry then we’d like to!
  • What if I want to change my plan?
  • No problem! You can upgrade or downgrade your account at any point, or cancel it altogether (although we’d really rather you didn’t leave if it’s all the same to you). Upgrades will happen immediately and you’ll be charged pro-rata for the price difference for the rest of the month. If you downgrade or cancel you’ll still have access to your account on the existing plan until the end of the month, just in case seeing everything you’ll be missing convinces you to stay. Hey, you can’t blame us for trying.
  • What happens if I decide to cancel?
  • You just had to go there, didn't you? You can decide to cancel at any time by clicking the big red 'Cancel Account' button in the billing section of your account. You'll keep access to your account until the end of your current billing period to give you a chance to tie off any loose ends. You can also choose to cancel your cancellation at any point until the end of the billing period. Eternally optimistic, us.
  • Will you marry me?
  • Funnily enough, we get that a lot. Unfortunately, we’re a team of more than 10 people who run a software product, so it might not work out – a classic case of “it’s not you, it’s all of us”. Why not sign up to use Shiftie instead though? It’s the next best thing, we promise!
